- Azure Functions Best Practices ReviewMicrosoft AzureUse when reviewing an existing Azure Function App against Azure Functions best practices and proposing safe, approval-gated remediations for runtime, configuration, identity, security, observability, performance, scale, cost, triggers, and bindings.
- Azure Functions Common ReferencesMicrosoft AzureShared Azure Functions reference material for the Azure Functions skill suite: runtime/language routing, trigger/binding extension references, official docs and repository pointers. Use only when another Azure Functions skill needs reusable language or binding context. Not intended as a standalone user-facing workflow.
- Create a Connector for Azure Functions Hosted SkillsMicrosoft AzureCreate and authorize a Connector Namespace connection for an Azure Functions Hosted Skill. Use when the user needs to add Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Azure DevOps, or another managed connector; determine connector authentication requirements; provision connection access policies; or prepare an authorized connection for MCP configuration.
- Publish Connector MCP Tools for Azure Functions Hosted SkillMicrosoft AzureGenerate, register, and wire a Connector Namespace MCP server for an Azure Functions Hosted Skill using authoritative connector metadata. Use when selecting connector operations, preserving operation schemas and dynamic parameters, creating mcpserverconfigs, retrieving the generated MCP endpoint, or configuring mcp.json. Requires an existing authorized connector connection.
- Validate Connectors for Azure Functions Hosted SkillsMicrosoft AzureValidate a Connector Namespace connection and MCP tool contract before an Azure Functions Hosted Skill uses it. Use for connection and identity gates, MCP initialize and tools/list checks, schema comparison, safe read/write smoke tests, downstream side-effect verification, and Hosted Skill tool-selection testing.
- Create or Extend Azure Functions AppMicrosoft AzureScaffold a new Azure Functions project, or add a new function/trigger to an existing project without re-initializing it
- Deploy Azure FunctionsMicrosoft AzureProxy Azure Functions deployment requests to the Azure Skills prepare, validate, and deploy workflow while preserving Azure Functions-specific guidance
- Azure Functions DiagnosticsMicrosoft AzureUse when diagnosing or resolving Azure Functions issues: deployment failures, runtime errors, trigger/binding failures, language worker issues, telemetry/log analysis, known issue research, source investigation, and remediation. Acts as a facade that routes to focused Azure Functions skills and small language/extension references.
- Azure Functions Project DiagnosticsMicrosoft AzureAnalyze local Azure Functions workspace code and configuration for common issues, then report prioritized findings with evidence and fixes. Use when the user asks to check, review, audit, or diagnose a local Azure Functions project before running or deploying it. This skill targets local workspaces only — use azure-functions-diagnostics for deployed Azure resources.
- Azure Functions Skills FeedbackMicrosoft AzureTurn session findings into previewed issues or pull requests for the Azure Functions skills repository
- Azure Functions Health StatusMicrosoft AzureUse when investigating current Azure Functions app status and health: Running/Stopped state, Resource Health, plan status, Azure Monitor metrics, Application Insights/Log Analytics requests, failures, exceptions, traces, dependencies, and recent Activity Log. Do not use for static inventory-only requests.
- Azure Functions HelpMicrosoft AzureDiscover the Azure Functions skill that best matches the user's goal
- Azure Functions Hosted SkillsMicrosoft AzureBuild, scaffold, extend, deploy, and troubleshoot Azure Functions Hosted Skills: cloud-hosted, event-driven intelligent capabilities built with Markdown, natural-language instructions, declarative configuration, code, and tools.
- Azure Functions InventoryMicrosoft AzureUse when collecting Azure Functions app specifications/inventory only: resource identity, SKU/plan, runtime, Function App config, network, identity, selected app settings, and function/trigger inventory. Do not use for runtime health, failures, metrics, or telemetry investigation.
- Azure Functions SetupMicrosoft AzureVerify prerequisites and set up your environment for Azure Functions development
- Update Azure FunctionsMicrosoft AzureUse only when the user explicitly asks to use or resume azure-functions-update by name. Migrate Azure Functions programming models and configuration through an approved scenario. Current scenario: C# in-process to .NET isolated worker; more scenarios are planned. Language-version and hosting-plan updates are separate handoffs.
- FrdMicrosoft AzureCreate or revise a Feature Requirement Document (FRD) for this repository. Use only when the user explicitly asks to create, draft, or revise an FRD or Feature Requirement Document, or explicitly invokes this skill. Do not trigger for ordinary feature implementation, new skills, bug fixes, refactoring, general design or planning requests, or incidental FRD mentions.
