- Runway DevRunwayUse whenever you build, modify, or debug an application integration with Runway Dev: inspect the app, connect Dev MCP when useful, find current API contracts, integrate through the official SDK, and keep credentials server-side. Load the matching surface skill for models, Model Routers, Characters, Recipes, or published Workflows.
- Runway Dev CharactersRunwayUse when building or maintaining a Runway Characters integration, including avatar discovery or management, realtime Sessions, knowledge, and the call interface. Follow current Characters and SDK docs. Do not use for generating avatar videos from text or audio.
- Runway Dev Model RoutersRunwayUse when an application should send image, video, or audio generation through a saved Runway Model Router configuration, or when the user asks to inspect or manage one. Resolve the live config and follow current router docs. For a fixed direct model endpoint, use runway-dev-models instead.
- Runway Dev ModelsRunwayUse when adding or maintaining a direct Runway Dev model endpoint in an application, including image, video, audio, or task handling. Discover current model access and constraints when needed, follow the exact endpoint contract, and integrate through the official SDK. For configured model-agnostic routing, use runway-dev-model-routers instead.
- Runway Dev RecipesRunwayUse when integrating a documented Runway Dev Recipe, choosing a prebuilt multi-step image or video workflow, or maintaining an existing Recipe call. Read the live Recipe guide for its current inputs, version, and SDK method. Use runway-dev-models for direct model endpoints.
- Runway Dev SetupRunwayUse when the user installs or starts using Runway Dev, needs to sign in or create a Developer Portal account, connect Dev MCP, verify account/project access, or finish setup after a developer_not_found error. Guide the user through the browser steps and continue with the task once setup succeeds.
- Runway Dev WorkflowsRunwayUse when connecting an application to a published Runway app Workflow through the Dev API, or when maintaining an existing Workflow invocation. Use live setup guidance when project-specific connection details are needed; do not infer unpublished workflow behavior.
- Rw Generate VideorunwaymlGenerate videos directly using the Runway API via runnable scripts. Supports text-to-video, image-to-video, and video-to-video with seedance2, gen4.5, veo3, and more.
